It affects in the form of “M” shaped in the Crownal part, “O” shaped hair loss in the occipital region later progression of the hair loss in these regions will leads to complete baldness of the head. The resulting hair loss may range of psychological problems in humans. For this reason, to prevent hair loss, VCare provides a variety of solutions seek to correct the image caused by hair loss.
Let me take you through the process
At the outset, the doctor will discuss at length with you about your medical history, including your family history, your nutrition, medications you take (including vitamins), your hair care regimen, recent surgeries and a detailed history of your hair loss situation. The doctor will also perform a general physical examination. Depending on your medical condition, you may have to undergo certain medical tests, such as blood tests, or a scalp biopsy to determine your eligibility for Activated follicular hair transplant.
What is AFT?
Activated follicular Hair transplantation (AFT) is an advanced treatment which helps in treating Baldness. VCare’s AFT (Activated Follicular Transplantation) is a proven, minimally invasive outpatient procedure in which follicular unit grafts, consisting of a small number of hair follicles are individually removed from the genetically stronger areas of your scalp (the “donor” areas) and artistically restored to your thinning areas (the “recipient” areas).
Our experienced physicians use the Modified FUE natural graft placement process to recreate your hairline and growth pattern for a permanent, natural-looking result. And because there are no linear scars and no stitches, your donor area will heal in a few days.
Why choose AFT?
AFT (Activated Follicular Transplantation), as with all the hair restoration procedures at VCare, are performed by and under the supervision of a VCare physician. VCare physicians have dedicated their practice exclusively to hair restoration. VCare physicians are highly skilled in the time-tested process of natural graft placement, where a patient’s hairline is recreated by preserving the original hair growth pattern to give them a natural look.
Hair transplantation is a daycare procedure, where you come in the morning and by evening you are done with the procedure. The whole procedure is done under local anesthesia so that you are completely awake but you will not feel discomfort on the scalp.
What actually we are doing in AFT is,
After all the pre-operative formalities are done, our trained and well-experienced hair transplant assistants undertake the hair trimming.
Hair transplantation is performed under local anesthesia. Local anesthesia is infiltrated on the donor site and recipient site to numb the area, during the procedure patient is in communication with the doctor. People feel very comfortable themself, does not feel pain. After treatment, the doctor prescribes for pain killers and antibiotics. After the process painless and very comfortable way of operation is completed.
We use disposable punches to remove the predetermined number of follicles. This is followed by the extraction of the blood for PRP. The extracted follicles are soaked in PRP and stem cells so that the follicles are activated even outside the human body.
After treatment,
If the post-operative instructions are followed carefully, in most patients, the hair transplant will be barely detectable after ten days. Patients are given medication for swelling at the time of surgery, but some still experience swelling of the forehead that settles across the bridge of the nose and around the eyes. If this occurs, it is gone by the end of the first week.
The newly transplanted hair begins to grow approximately 10 weeks. It is long enough to be groomed in about 6 months and, in most cases,
will be fully grown in one year. In the few months following hair surgery,
before the new hair starts to grow, there may be some shedding of your original
hair so that the transplanted area may temporarily appear slightly thinner.
This is a temporary situation. The shed hair will begin to regrow about the
same time as the newly transplanted hair begins to grow.
NOTE: To improve upon the results, the patient can choose to go for a second session as well.
